Texas has limited federal public land compared to western states, but Big Bend National Park, Padre Island National Seashore, Lake Meredith and LBJ National Grassland provide hunting, fishing and camping opportunities. State wildlife management areas add additional public access for hunting and fishing across diverse Texas landscapes.
